A durable, lightweight material is used for the outer casings, which are color-coded for easy identification.
All North cartridges and filters fit the 5500 Series and 7700 Series half mask respirators and the 7600-8A full facepiece respirator.
Defender multipurpose cartridges, each effective against a number of contaminants, reduce inventory needs.
Low Profile P100 Filter/Cartridge offers all the advantages of a smaller, lighter cartridge, yet still delivers complete P100 protection.
P100 Pancake Filters provide complete P100 protection in a convenient, low-profile design, and can be attached as a prefilter to any North chemical cartridge, giving it P100 capability.
All North respirators using these cartridges and filters comply with the new NIOSH 42 CFR 84 regulations.
